Bust of King Henry VIII made in British Gypsum Plaster.
As with all Famous Faces there are objects around the base. For this bust we have included Hampton Court, the Tudor Rose and the famous six wives; Catherine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour, Anne of Cleves Katherine Howard, Catherine Parr.
The etch around the base bears the names of the six wives. Besides these wives, two of whom he beheaded, Henry VIII is known for his role in the separation of the Church of England from the Roman Catholic Church, the dissolution of the Monasteries and the legal union of England and Wales.
