Bust of Charles Darwin made in British Gypsum Plaster.
As with all Famous Faces there are objects around the base. For this bust we have included the evolution of man, giant tortoise, iguanas, magnifying glass, notebooks and the HMS Beagle
The etch around the base reads -

The Origin of Species was a publishing phenominen. Darwin outlined his evolutionary theory which challenged Church and establishment on the origin of life.
